Hoy

Over to Hoy for my weekly stint volunteering for the RSPB monitoring the white-tailed eagles nest. Nothing happened for the first three hours, and visitors were disappointed, but then there was a changeover at the nest and the female sat on a crag preening for quite a while. Several views also of peregrine and hen harrier. At one point a female harrier set upon, if briefly, a peregrine sitting on a fence.
