Duck

Dull and overcast here today. but plenty of wildlife about. This duck was feeding with a few more below the bridge in Sejny where I returned today for some more shopping. We didn't need more gin but already seem to be almost out of milk.

I spotted and captured a nuthatch who was disappointingly well camouflaged in the poor light in the willow overhanging the river. Also spotted were a few birds of prey of which I didn't manage to get good shots either. A few mushrooms did manage to keep still but the shots of the greenfinches with sparrows were too similar to previous blips.

The mallard seemed best to cheer up a rather downcast day.
