A Mixed Day

PD arrived late this morning because he has a couple of H's grandchildren staying with him, so he arrived when they were being taken to school.
His walk had to wait until after we had taken Jay to the vet and left him to have some dental work done.

It was a lovely warm, sunny morning with some nice light on the poppies, the tall yellow daisy like things, the spider web and of course - the bluebells (I think I need to go and find the bluebell wood in Fife I took pictures in a couple of years ago).

I also liked the new leaves in the lichen and the contrasting greens in the nettles.

By the afternoon the clouds had rolled in and in fact there was some moisture dropped out of the sky for a few minutes.

When we went to pick Jay up we found that he has had real problems with his teeth and several had to be removed. Hopefully that will be the end of his problems (and that the insurance company sticks to their end of the bargain and pay for it).
On the up side, the staff thought Jay was super - his laid back attitude and good looks won them all over.
