Grape Exercise
Continuing to enjoy a wonderful week in a picturesque setting. This morning, Barrow Bard led a short but effective writing workshop - for which we were all grapeful! Each of us chose one grape from a bunch of remarkably similar grapes. In groups of four, each of us had to describe our grape in such detail that we'd be able to recognise it again if we saw it.
After we'd mixed the grapes each of us was able to identify our own grape. We exchanged descriptions and even managed to work out which grape was whose of the remaining fruits. Anyone'd think we were all practised writers! But it was a really good exercise in close observation and finding the right words. And grapes.
This afternoon, the professional film editor husband of one of our poetic band filmed us each performing one short poem. And some of us also took the opportunity for exploration of our gorgeous rural surroundings in hot sunshine. So many blipportunities, but thought this was a bit different!
Now for dinner and - oh, let's see - perhaps a glass of wine or two!
