Kev

Kev is Winchester's most frequent and best loved Big Issue seller.  He keeps shoppers and tourists in a ripple of laughter with his patter and bad jokes - and last November he was even given the job of turning on the city's Christmas lights.

For those of you not in the UK, the Big Issue is a magazine sold by the homeless to give them some income.  I have tried to blip Kev at least 3 times before this, but today was the first time I was happy with the result.  He is very hard to capture!

So that was this morning's shopping trip when I was buying bits for a friend's birthday party this afternoon.  My friend has been very unwell and was in hospital for a long time.  So it was lovely seeing her at home in her sunny sitting room enjoying birthday tea and presents.

Altogether a good day, even if now I am a bit wrecked ;-/
