Out on the bike down there again and back via The Meldons. 74 miles of riding that was probably, if not the 'best' ride of mine ever, very 'correct' and without fuss or any difficulties and, I dunno, I thought as I was cycling back through the Edinburgh suburbs to my house how the last four and half hours had just flown by in a blaze of sunshine and clarity. Good when that happens.

Birthday in my house today, the youngest member of the family is 12. Happy birthday lovely girl x
