Reunions

Unusual day. After a morning of meetings I met up with someone from school that I hadn’t seen since we left. She’d said she was visiting Edinburgh and so we met for lunch.....chatted about people she’s kept in touch with and shared some memories of various teachers. Slightly surreal though, and not many other touch points in our lives.
Had another meeting cancelled so got some time to plan for the rest of the week then a good talk to L about her new role. What a relief that’s now sorted!
Down to town to join the new Fellows event and congratulate several pals being welcomed into the fold (including Arclight, and good to see hazelh there too). Lots of chat before off for dinner with OU colleagues having a meeting in Edinburgh office. Good to catch up, but some of the insider stories about recent events there were gobsmacking.
