Jesus Ditch, Cambridge.

Jesus Ditch is on Jesus Green, and borders the grounds of Jesus College. It is an off-shoot of the Medieval King's Ditch and in Elizabethan times became part of the town's open sewer system. Happily, nowadays it is home to wildlife. One can take a pleasant stroll or cycle along the paths to the city centre.
