a lot going on

It's been a long day of chasing down a medical appointment for hubby. I finally found out what facility here in town will take hubby's insurance. I called them last week and emailed the pertinent info, but heard nothing back. So I called again today, resent the info while still on the phone, and then got an appointment next week. Great, right? Then I discovered a voice mail on my phone from "unknown caller" which was automatically blocked. That message was from hubby's insurance telling us to go to another facility for said appointment.  When I called the person who had left the message, they are now out of office until Thursday. Okay, be still and wait. Then I got another call this evening from a healthcare giver associated with the first facility who said she was told to come to our home for the appointment. So or now we are going with that. It feels like I'm walking through a carnival house of mirrors!
So getting out to blip was delayed, and when I did, I noticed a lone dandelion in our yard. On closer inspection, it had a lot going on, too.
