Bucket list .....

Warm and sunny today. Picked up the new herd at 5.30am and took him round with me to feed the sheep. I gave him a map of all the fields to help him get his bearings. Tonight I let him away on his own. He made it back so not so bad !
A day of cattle work. Sorted out cows and calves with wee brother next door, then bolused and vaccinated 10 cows with calves and put them out to a field. Then put 6 big bullocks out to another field. Will need to sort the barbed wire on the fence in the morning. Hopefully their mouths will keep them in the field tonight .
This is Patch helping her self to some lamb milk from the dregs in the bottom of the buckets I feed the pet lambs with. Waste not, want not !
