Impromptu Spider

We're gardening today, filling various troughs and tubs with the plants we bought last week at the garden centre. Despite my very systematic methodology last week we seem to be inundated with 'spillers' but not enough 'thrillers' and 'fillers'. How has this happened?

I brought my camera into the garden with me intending to photograph spontaneously the first interesting creature or bird I saw. This little spider obligingly ran along the door sill.
