MonoMonday: Impromptu al fresco Lunch

I thought that MerrilHope's MM topic of "Impromptu" was going to stump me, until we decided that it was such a lovely day we'd have an impromptu al fresco lunch in the garden (there are not many days in the year, here in NE England, when that's a comfortable option!). So here's our cold chicken (left over from yesterday's roast), ham, pate, salad, etc. My Editor usually laughs at me when eating salad when we're indoors, as I tend to moan and say that eating it is a bit of a penance - eaten out of necessity for good health rather than for enjoyment - but it somehow seems to taste so much better outside on a nice day!
