Gale force Winds

Yes that was the weather report today so rather than the mountain The Boss picked The Outlet track. This track runs alongside the Clutha river from the outlet of the lake and is a great choice because it is well sheltered from gale force Northerly's .
You can do a sorta loop thing and return along the top of the cliff which involves 3 fences so The Boss had to do the "Tussock over the fence" thing. I am really used to this now and do a little jump to help.
This track is part of 51 Km of tracks (trails) that we have around Wanaka and there is never a shortage of places to go. I know we will return as there were lots of other possibilities found later and it is the windy season now.
Sorry about the early post but we are going out for tea and Rummikub with some friends and may be a bit late given it is Friday. The Boss says that it is our turn to win.
Seems fair to me.
