Unnerving Juxtaposition

Reclining on the settee, as you do, I noticed how the head of the carving seemed to emerge from or sink into the pot. Make of it what you will.

The splendid head comes from Botswana, make out of greenstone. The pot was fashioned in Bahla, a traditional centre for pottery making, in Oman.

Sleep patterns disrupted through being late home from Leicester the night before. I was a grumpy bear all day.
