Had a surprisingly (though I do tend to enjoy this kind of thing) good time at the Baptist Assembly - from getting to know a local (Banners Gate) minister and his Brazilian wife who gave me a lift there, to the seminars, to chatting to Lynne Green at lunch, to seeing Auntie Margaret and the Doonans, to seeing the huge number of people going into ministry, to hearing from a lady who has been a missionary for 50 years (!!) with BMS in the same place, to multi-lingual/cross-cultural worship... it was great!
