Unsung Heroes

I mentioned this yesterday, and on today's noon news, there was a story on this group of PUD workers off to New Jersey to give their workers a break. This is happening all around the country I am sure, electrical and telephone line repairmen off to save the day. And the young man in the back row in the far left corner is Cody, our neighbor. What an experience they will have. I should have talked to Cody before he left to tell him to go help Debbi in NJ.

It was a day of sun breaks, then pouring down rain. October was a very wet month, locally, and some of our local news had stories about minor flooding, broken trees and the usual leaves plugging the storm drains.
