Three Cliffs

I’ve blipped a few photos of Three Cliffs before, but not from this angle, as we walked along a new bit of path today.

After church we welcomed the daughter of friends from Enfield for lunch, along with her boyfriend. They are both studying at Cardiff University and so caught the train here after their church service.

We were lucky with lovely weather, so we drove them to Southgate on Gower (blipped last week) and walked along the cliff top. The tide was in, so instead of going down onto Pobbles beach, we walked up the other side of the cliff path to get this view of Three Cliffs. The boys decided to nip up the top of the first one, as you do, and you can just see them up there if you look closely.

After ice cream, we took our young visitors back to the station to return to Cardiff. I think they enjoyed seeing the sea and having a home cooked roast dinner.
