Recording of a good road surface

We have succumbed and equipped our two cars with dashcams.  We recognised the need because there are fools and criminals on the road (we're not fools, of course ;-)) and we might one day want to replay an event, something that happened to us or to someone else.  

This is a Garmin 45, a tiny camera with quite reasonable quality and features, including GPS positioning. I was driving back from Mass and my wife decided to fiddle with the device, capturing this view of a rare sight – a country road with no potholes . . .
