Bruiser

I decided to exchange the fruit we put out for the blackbirds for live mealworms - more suitable if they have young. Fortunately, they came and took their share before the arrival of some voracious starlings which were in turn usurped by this large crow. Yes, carrion crows are common birds, and we often see them fly over, but this is only the second time we have had one land in the garden.
