Still Glides The Stream

The village stream with field and cow parsley beyond.  The stream is crossed via a humpback bridge just a few hundred metres from our street.  As there is a shallow entrance to the water here, it is a popular spot for children, dogs and horses to go for a paddle!

Tessa Jowell passed away last night, from brain cancer.  The tributes to Tessa are moving and many of the words used to describe her remind me of my own dear mum who also passed away from the same disease just one year after diagnosis.  A reminder of the preciousness of life and how short a time we have to make a lasting difference.
