A taste of Cheney
Today was a lovely Saturday, spent as a family, right around home. This morning, we took the city bus into Spokane for a trip to the Children's Museum. They have changed the exhibits since the last time we were there and Tyler was in heaven. They have balls balls and more balls. It's a sports exhibit. They had a place where you stuck your hand in various holes and felt which type of ball you were feeling and then could check the answer. Tyler loved it and that boy knows his balls. He was guessing bowling, baseball, volleyball, basketball with pin point accuracy. He also showed off his baseball pitching skills and measured in a 20 mph pitch! impressive! :)
Kelly, Chris and Hannah met us there for some family fun and then provided a yummy lunch for all of us. It was very enjoyable. When we got home, I headed to the Dr. to confirm a sinus infection and start taking drugs right away! Then, I got home, talked with George about how I'm just like a fishing bobber, and headed out to try and get a good picture around Cheney. I took Miss Mia with me and that was a mistake. She was not happy anytime I jumped out of the car for a photo. I won't make that mistake again.
This picture was taken on the main road that heads to the EWU campus. There is this farm, a bunch of fields, and then you drop right into the football field and Recreation Center and then into campus. We had a beautiful sunset tonight too. It was a beautiful sunny day, but oh so cold!
Oh yes, we also got interviewed for the news tonight and thought we might be on TV, but they didn't take our interview. I was all set up with my camera to Blip a picture of us off of the TV, but we never showed up. Maybe next time.
Goodnight! It's bedtime around here. For kiddos at least!
