Same Feeder Stand, Different Bird.

Today I was watching this juvenile pigeon trying to work out how to get down from the top of the feeder stand, where he had landed, to the seed tray below.  An adult pigeon, possibly a parent was encouraging him, but he just couldn't get his head round the logistics of it.  I don't know how the story ended as the potatoes were boiling over and I had to get on with dinner.  When I went back to the window they had both gone.
