Early Mother’s Day Roses

I had a few chores to do in Katoomba and Blackheath and decided if I could win the lotto and find a car park in the Main Street of Katoomba I would call in to our favourite florist and buy CCN some flowers for Mother’s Day. As luck would have it I was able to perform a “Gold Medal” parking manoeuvre and ended up only two car spaces away from their front door. This image really does not do these roses justice. They are long stemmed and the blooms are as big as a saucer. I think I’ll have to revisit them for my blip when they have fully opened. Needless to say my wonderful friend LOVES them.
