When I Grow Up

Completed in 1990, Mathilda was published just 2 years before Roald Dahl's death. One of his last (if not the last to be finished) this story has been carefully and thoughtfully adapted for the screen and now the theatre.

Our children were very excited at the thought of going to London to see the show and for the most part, avoided any maggoty tendencies (although there were a few 'princess' moments when we got home).

The cast, production and score were all faultless. A grand day out. Highly recommended, as are the booster seats for the shorter members of the audience.
