View from ...

In Shipston to hear Gill's other choir the Stour Singers perform Rutter's Magnificat and Faure's Requiem. I had hoped to get a blip of Gill singing but she was behind a pillar from my viewpoint!  I did, however, get to see the harpist and hear her and the flautist very well - so this is a view of the harp at half-time. 

I've not heard the Magnificat previously and really enjoyed it - Gill says it is a challenge to sing, but that is why she joined this choir.

I wonder if I could suggest they try a little reverse psychology and instead of asking people who have collected their half time drinks to reduce congestion by returning to their seats, ask them to locate the narrowest walkway or doorway and stand there - preferably attempting to take a family photo too :-)
