Musicians experience taking a dancer out for the day.....!!

Katie was (very kindly) collected by lovely friends we’ve made through NCO and YYM to head of to NCO today. After the journey and full rehearsal, Katie was definitely ready to be let loose in the park. It amused all the family to see her explode in a ball of dancing, leaping, stretching energy!

They were very kindly treated to dinner with a friend of their family’s and Katie got to enjoy some Malaysian cuisine. The main course was a big success. The dessert was quite an epic failure- I think she was polite at the time but told me it was “completely disgusting”!

They didn’t leave Manchester until 7.30 and it was quite busy traffic. M text me at 9.30 to say the kids were still wide awake and making up stories. Apparently shortly after saying that they all zonked out! I met them to get Katie back and she woke only to go to the loo & tell me she’d got her fabulous NCO case sticker. She then fell asleep in the car and had no memory of how she got back to our house the next morning!
