is the name that we know this plant by . The leaves are green with mauve- purple stems and the under side of the leaf is also this rich lovely colour. Tiny sprays of blue flowers followed by round mustard coloured seeds add to an interesting colour scheme.
When I googled purpurea I came across a ghastly disease. No reference to a tree.
