Ogmore Castle
The remains of Ogmore Castle (near Bridgend, UK) can be seen alongside the River Ewenny over which old stepping stones cross to it. The castle was first built by the Norman, William de Londres, in the early 12th century and added to by his family in the 13th century. There are extensive ruins at the site but the dry moat and three storey keep still stand. It is said to be haunted by a ghost known as The White Lady. She guards treasure thought to be buried at the site!

______________________________
The Mansion, Old Place or Llantwit Major Castle was built in 1596 for Edmund Vann, but before the end of the 17th Century the family had died out and the house was abandoned. It's been a ruin for years but the council sold the grade 2 listed building in 2011 and it is now being renovated as a home. According to local legend it has two resident ghosts, one a woman in white who was starved to death by her husband, and the other the spirit of a Dutch sailor.
