Book Art For Somerset Day

Today marks the latest annual Somerset Day to celebrate all things Somerset and Street once again put on a range of activities in the High Street, including traditional dancing, a brass band, and a buskers' spot.

In the library, this demonstration of book art caught my eye. I got chatting to the chap who does it, Brendon and he explained that it's all done by folding and a little bit of cutting. He was very modest but I thought they were very effective.

We've had a quiet day: 20 lengths of the pool this morning, the weekly shop and this afternoon I've mainly spent making a beef and butternut squash curry.
