Geek Bothy

Made the most of the sunshine and warmth today, up the damp hill with the dogs at 6, misty beach at 7, fantastically quiet supermarket shopping at 8, kicking Sam up out of his pit to get ready to study at 9, and then pottering ever since in between more dog walks up that great big beautiful hill again.

Never managed to visit the Geek Bothy when it was at Transition in Aberdeen but definately should, could and did make it to the newly relocated Kemnay shop today. The owners are lovely and down to earth and the stock is a bit wild with loads of lovely things. We bought a few bits and bobs and they gave Dave free plectrums. He got purple hair dye for an unsuspecting Tess. And that beastie thing? I was in stiches at it thinking who would part with their cash to buy that? It is a grotesquely mesmerising slice of bizarre. I called Dave over and we were both creasing up laughing at it. Then he only went and sneakily bought it and it's now firmly established as our third child, from Moscow to Kingseat via Kemnay.
