"Heroes"

A fairly average rock covers band plays Bowie's 'Heroes' at Dusk last night, in Salisbury's Market Square.

Salisbury traditionally has free live music in many venues over the two May bank holiday weekends - but, due to a certain international "incident" and big drop in visitor numbers. that's been extended to cover the whole month.

I only popped out with my Nikkor G 85mm f1.8 for half an hour and was back home in time to watch my favourite programme, 'Have I Got News For You'.

This shot from the behind the stage with the crowd beyond was easily the best angle and the best blend of lighting and colours - and a good pose too from the lead vocalist/guitarist. There was much dancing from some of the reasonable sized crowd and passers-by stopped to take a quick look and listen.
