Glasgow City chambers

I attended an awards ceremony in Glasgow City chambers today.
I have only been in this magnificent building a handful of times in my life but each time, am stunned by the craftsmanship and intricate detail which has been lavished upon its construction.
Finest Italian marble can be found throughout and the cost of the ornate rooms and corridors was largely funded by Glasgow's tobacco barons in the 19th century.
