May Flower

A still peaceful day spent sitting resting trying to recover from the virus I've had these past few days.  It was so special to have time to sit and watch the birds and trees in the garden and to reflect on life.  The oak tree at the end of the garden is a vibrant fresh green, and the hawthorn flower fills the hedge below it.  Together they are such a wonderful sight.  The sparrows which usually chatter away in the hedge are not here at the moment.  I think they must be away nesting, possibly feeding young in another nearby hedgerow.
