There’ll be blue birds over...

When Freya finishes school at 12:30, she and I head to the airport. We’re off to London for the weekend to see Cressida Cowel, author of the How to Train Your Dragon books, of which Freya is a great fan. Freya is hugely excited, but knows how to use an airport, so everything proceeds smoothly.

I’m surprised to find out flightpath from Oslo to Gatwick takes us over Dover.

After dinner in the hotel bar, which impresses Freya no end, it’s a late night for her, and an early night for me.
