Friendlier Relations

Thanks so much for all your kindness re my horrible day yesterday, thus is BlipLand.

Today didn't seem near as bad, though have had stomach cramps all day, and very frustrating time trying to book a ferry for the UK in June - got to the end, says it's debited, but no confirmation... so much time wasted trying to sort it, but will just have to leave until Monday now. Scary with the amount involved, and frustrating because can't make final plans, plus if not booked, the available spaces are going fast. 

Went to Spain (as you do if you live in Mourão) to buy weld mesh to protect our fruit trees from the sheep and occasional stray goat. Took a bit of time to wander round Villanueva del Fresno's castle, that the Portuguese dynamited into smithereens in 1646. Well, that's what the board said, though dynamite was only patented in 1867. Can you dynamite with cannon balls??

The favour was richly returned more than once. Friendlier relations nowadays, plus much cheaper fuel, which was another reason for going. Always amazed at how different the Spanish are to the Portuguese.
