Crumpet or pikelet?

Of course to a northerner it’s a pikelet but many will refer wrongly to these as crumpets. But the taste is great and it turns out this is my birthday meal. I was due to go out for dinner but felt unwell this afternoon so had to miss out but pikelets are always comforting so feel better now.
