Emanuele’s restored shutters

The hand-mixed colour and beautiful restoration by Emanuele has made the 10 shutters (9 pairs and one singleton) the crowning glory of Ca’ Di Bati Phase 1.

I spent five hours behind the cultivator in the campo grande whilst the Boss and the Special One attendend a conference.

Thunder and heavy rain spiralled around on Mt Falterona but largely missed me as I trudged on.

I got a surprisingly large amount of land scuffed over with all six tines on the Bertolini.

And lovely to go round closing and locking home the solid shutters into the stone lintels. What a fortress of a house.

I schlepped the heavy mower into the car and cut the grass in the Fiz garden before a generous helping of the IGT 13% from Frescobaldi.

The Boss and the SO are out on some conference jolly nosh-up in Floz while I sup on hardtack and weevils!
