Cowslip

I've never seen the profusion of cowslips as they are this year. Wonderful, just stretching over the limestone hills in a swathe of yellow - a cowslip year for sure!

I was on a local butterfly patch but in the blustery weather there was no chance of seeing anything flying and the slopes were empty even of photographers for a change. The dogs had a great walk - at a pace and loved it!

Strangely for me it's going in for Flowerfriday :)
