Buttercups
Luke had as early appointment with the physio today so it was a bit of a rush leaving the house. He knee is looking very good and she is so pleased with his bend - now at 140 degrees. Today it is 7 weeks since his skiing accident and his progress has been remarkable. The ice and compression machine was also returned today and it felt like the end of a significant stage in his rehabilitation - I got so used to buying bags of ice every day and seeing Luke sitting with his leg up in the kitchen while using the machine. As he says, it now frees up another 3 hours a day for him as he no longer has to sit there icing throughout the day.
On the way back we could not resist trying the new cafe in our high street that I mentioned yesterday. I hope it is just teething problems but despite good tasting coffee the staff were a bit useless, service was very slow and I was disappointed with the decor - they had a large TV on the wall with some BBC program on about decorating houses and not much else to make the place look charming - in a supposedly upmarket cafe?
I also stopped off to photograph these pretty little buttercups. It is very windy today so it proved more challenging than I realised as they were blowing about like anything.
