Flowering Currants

A beautiful sunny morning, and a windy clouy afternoon.  Been a fine warm day.

I've had a busy day on the museum desk.  There was the tidy up from last night to sort, and also set up for events over the weekend.  There's been plenty of visitors about too.  Ended the day with a quiet spell in Da Gadderie, watching over the Hans Holbein painting.  Off out for a meal tonight, and possible pints too :)

A lovely start to the day, and the flowering currants were looking great up this path.  Shame they don't flower for the whole summer, as they are striking.  Looking up to Jim's house, Houl Road, Scalloway.
