Philanthropists and Apple

Beggers belief really, all those philanthropists from the 19th and 20th century who made money from the masses left legacies which still endure such as Angela Burdett-Coutts (funded statue of Greyfriars Bobby on the advice of Dickens), Andrew Carnegie (funded over 2500 libraries), Dolly Parton (the Imagination Library) and Bill Gates (funding as we speak to the tune of $29 billion for Education, AIDS-prevention, and sanitation)
What did Steve Jobs do? Well seems he built a boat in the shape of an ipad.
I think George Wylie (Straw Locomotive, 32 Spires and Paper Boat) left a more lasting legacy than the appleman.
