Wisteria Gold....

Our wisteria vine inexplicably died last spring. I was heartbroken when no flowers appeared. It looked thoroughly dead. Then miraculously new growth started to emerge from the bottom of the enormous, very old and twisted trunk. Then leaves appeared and the tendrils gradually moved up and over the old pergola. The leaves are now turning into their autumn golds and we can look forward to the flowers once again in the coming spring.
