Fur Cat Nae Knickers

My Dear Fellows & Dear Princess Normal,

We moved offices today. Our new office is right next door, so it's not too traumatic. But you wouldn't believe what a PALAVER they make of office moves where I work.

There are detailed instructions. By which I mean, two sides of A4. And a special sheet you have to fill in. Plus a special plastic bag to put your mouse and keyboard in, and stickers for everything.

PALAVER

It takes two full days to move us all. I'm not sure why. And despite all of this, the last time they moved us, Dostana's screen got broken, my desktop PC had the wiring pulled out of it and Smock got given the wrong sort of desk.

Don't ask. She was very attached to that previous desk. There was a whole performance.

While we are being moved we have to work from home. Damn. You mean I HAVE to spend an extra hour in bed and then stay in jarmies all day?

Gutted.

I love being a BA with no knickers. Although it is not conducive to hard graft if you know what I mean. There may have been a fair amount of farting about today. And I may have put on "To The Devil... A Daughter" at 2pm.

But, you know, I can BA just as well with Christopher Lee being evil in the background. I got a bit distracted, I admit, when Nastassja Kinski got attacked by a what looked like a little pink demon frog, but other than that I was VERY pro-fess-ee-o-nal.

Or at least, I would have been if Jasper didn't take advantage of my presence to demand cuddles every 30 minutes.

I'm working at home again on Monday. I'll be sure to rest up over the weekend.

As if Wellington knew that I didn't have to leave the house today, the weather has been rainy and windy. I love it when it is like that and I get to stay inside, having soup. Today's picture is out of the kitchen window, and you can see the rosy glow of the kitchen reflected there. Cosy, no?

S.
