Come home Daisy!
We have not felt that the catkins are ready to venture outside yet, but thought it might be fairly soon. Today Daisy took it into her own hands and managed to climb out through a tiny slit of an open window.
I happened to find her when I opened the hedgehog feeding box to see if the food had been eaten. There was Daisy, hiding in a tiny space.
Then she was OFF. We have not seen her since and she is not responding to our calls. Poor Oscar is wandering around looking for her or hiding in the wardrobe. He did not eat for hours.
That has dominated the day.
I walked to the surgery to pick up a repeat prescription and photographed the cherry trees beside the graveyard.
The choir met this afternoon and we had our first performance this evening is a concert with the Hadrian Singers and the Dales Singers in Haltwhistle. Considering that our choir was formed in January, I thought we did very well.
Home, calling "Daisy, Daisy". Now I've left the conservatory open in case she comes in during the night.
