Compromise!

When the ancient folks living north and south of the river couldn’t agree where to build their Town Hall....it was built in the middle of the river!
And so it is today!...a unique Town Hall ....
on a bridge in the middle of the river in Bamberg, Bavaria....
a delightful mediaeval town.....another UNESCO World Heritage Site
