A long drive from Kendal to Ullapool today - in time to catch the ferry across the Minch to Stornoway on the Outer Hebridean island of Lewis.

This was our first glimpse of the coastline of Lewis - close enough for us to see our friends' house where we would be spending the next few days . . . . . . . .
