Midsummer Common - Street Piano

After a morning of applying fire proof paint to beams we popped into town so I could blip another of the street pianos. Out on Midsummer common I was worried that this one would be a bit desolate however a couple of children came along whilst I was taking pictures and played a bit which was great.

They have been so successful that they are keeping them out for the weekend (or so I have been told) which is excellent.

Unlike the fire retardant paint which is like applying cream cheese to the metal posts we have in the living room. I called the manufacturers who mentioned that it was not really suitable for a sitting room as the finish, whilst good in the event of a fire, is not really very attractive. I'm sitting next to it now, it looks like a badly iced cake.So more hours of my life will have to be wasted sanding it and making it look less shit.

This evening we are having family movie night, the movie is 'Jaws' H and I figured we saw it when we were 7 so the children will be fine. Poppy has seen this trailer and is looking forward to the singing (watch the trailer ;))
