Liberation Day

73 years of freedom from German Occupation. We celebrated today as we do every year. I spoke to a man who was 7 when the island was liberated. He was telling me how important it is that we never forget. He showed me his Liberation medal pinned proudly on his jacket.
The boys played two gigs today, one at a street party and one on the main stage in town. I know I’m biased, but they were brilliant. Charlie played so hard, his fingers bled! Excellent day. :-)
