I couldn't resist posting this one of us childhood mates getting together on our home town's very special annual celebration, Helston Flora Day. Yours truly on the right with ex next-door neighbour David (member of the Cadgwith Singers) in the middle and Lester, best man at me and Mrs K's 1985 wedding and, you guessed, trombone player with the town band.

Talking of weddings, Lester announced to me last night that he's to be married (for the first time at the ripe old age of 59) in December and asked me to be his best man! OMG.
