Ups and Downs

That's life I guess.

I still seem to have a lot of ticks on today's list even though the plans for the day were disrupted by unforeseen events.  Jamie must have had one exciting dream last night because he woke with a spectacular bruise and a rather swollen hand.  He'd connected with the wall at some stage in the night, the local surgery thought an x-ray was a good idea ... just in case ...   So out went playing his violin for Grandma at the hospital and out went the planned  violin rehearsal.  We did see Grandma who is better by the day and were very lucky that we caught someone just finishing their shift at Minor Injuries - through A&E in ten minutes!  Nothing broken but Jamie's planned Race for Life is in the balance.

The disrupted day meant  a quick blip - the troughs by the back door, which are looking very pretty just now.

Rain for the garden would be good ..... just overnight rain please :-)
